- NSW Government opportunity - hybrid flexibility
- Initial 6-month contract - with possible extension
- $820 - $940 per day + Super
- Locations available: Sydney CBD (Martin Place), Parramatta, or Orange

Our client drives integrated planning and delivery across NSW, including housing, infrastructure, property, workplace, natural resources, energy and industry. The Cluster has a strong focus on supporting regional NSW.

The role:
Reporting to the Director of Diversity, the Manager, Diversity and Inclusion leads a team to develop, implement and monitor initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace. The role drives innovative, best-practice strategies aligned with NSW Government priorities and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and delivery of organisation-wide diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives.
- Drive initiatives, events and education programs that foster an inclusive culture and positive employee experience.
- Lead the Diversity and Inclusion team, providing expert advice aligned with Government priorities, legislation and policy.
- Oversee governance, including the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee, and ensure legislative and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with managers and executives to develop strategies that attract, retain and support a diverse workforce.
- Use research, data and insights to evaluate initiatives, identify best practice and recommend improvements.

The successful candidate will have:

- Significant experience and/or qualifications in Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering organisation-wide D&I; strategies, programs, policies and initiatives.




- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with experience providing advice to senior leaders.
