The opportunity

As Team Leader Parking and Local Laws, you will lead a dedicated team delivering parking enforcement, local laws, school crossing supervision and community safety compliance services. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational coordination, staff coaching and complex compliance oversight to ensure safe, lawful and customer-focused outcomes for the community.

What you'll do

- Lead the delivery of parking enforcement, local laws and community safety compliance services.
- Supervise, coach and support a team of compliance officers and school crossing staff.
- Coordinate rostering, workload allocation and operational planning.
- Provide specialist advice on investigations, enforcement matters and escalated issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, procedures and service delivery

What you need to succeed

- Experience leading staff in a local government or regulatory compliance environment.
- Strong knowledge of parking enforcement, local laws and compliance legislation.
- Proven experience managing investigations and enforcement matters.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
- Relevant qualification in investigations, statutory compliance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check & a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also hold a valid Victorian Driver's License.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted working rights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
