Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join an MGP/Caseload team in Biloela, Queensland, on a contract basis.
This is a great opportunity for a midwife who enjoys continuity of care and working across the full maternity journey, from antenatal care through to labour, birth and postnatal support.
About the role
- Location: Biloela, QLD
- Contract: ASAP - 14 December 2026
- Hours: 80 hours per fortnight
- Roster: Day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday
- MGP/Caseload position
- 35% loading on top of RM wages
- 24/7 on-call component
- Dedicated days off
- Work within a team of six midwives
- Support from a dedicated Maternity Unit Manager
Key responsibilities You will provide continuity of care across:
- Antenatal care
- Antenatal education
- Labour and birth
- Postnatal care
- Caseload/MGP midwifery
- On-call support
Essential requirements To be considered, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Recent experience working in MGP/caseload midwifery
- Experience across antenatal, labour/birth and postnatal care
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation competency
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call arrangement
- Ability to work the required roster and agree to an 8-hour shift break
Travel & accommodation
- Shared accommodation provided, subject to availability
- $200 incl. GST each way towards domestic travel for commencement and completion of the contract
