Job Title: Lead Business Analyst | Business Modelling & Process Improvement
Lead complex business analysis across strategic planning, business modelling, process improvement and solution design within a major Australian Government ICT environment. The role requires an initial full time onsite period in Canberra before transitioning to an approved hybrid arrangement.

Location:ACT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – full-time onsite in Canberra for 3 months or until the required ICT landscape, requirements and project objectives are understood. Subject to approval, contractors must then attend onsite at least 3 days per week.
Contract Duration: 26 October 2026 to 30 June 2027, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Closing Date: 10.00am, 24 September 2026

Essential Tasks:

- Lead strategic planning, business mapping, modelling and gap-analysis activities.
- Develop solution blueprints and assess existing capabilities against future requirements.
- Define, document and improve complex business processes and requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and engage enterprise, program, operational and project stakeholders.

Key Criteria:





- Level 5 capability in business modelling and business process improvement.
- Strong business situation analysis across complex and ambiguous environments.
- Level 5 consultancy capability, including analysis, options assessment and problem resolution.
- Experience leading feasibility assessments, business cases, impact and risk analysis.
