What You Will Be Doing

Shotfirer

- Preparing, loading, and firing blast patterns in accordance with site procedures
- Conducting blast preparation, tie-ins, and safety inspections
- Managing explosives in compliance with legislative and site requirements
- Working closely with Drill & Blast and Production teams
- Completing blast documentation and compliance reporting

MPU Operator
- Operating Mobile Processing Units (MPUs)
- Manufacturing and delivering explosive products to blast locations
- Maintaining compliance with explosives handling and transport requirements
- Conducting vehicle and equipment inspections
- Assisting with drill and blast operations as required

What You Will Need

Shotfirer Requirements

- Current SOA for Shotfiring, including:
- RIIBLA205
- RIIBLA301
- RIIBLA305
- RIIBLA402
- Current Australian Shotfirer's Licence or recognised equivalent
- Current Queensland Explosives Security Card
- G1, G8, G9 competencies or S1, S2, S3 (issued within the last 5 years)
- G2 competency
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence or higher
- Standard 11/ Coal Board Medical
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence (no provisional licences)




- SSE/SEE Delegate signed Training Transcript or LMS Record

MPU Operator Requirements
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence
- Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) ticket/competency
- Queensland Explosives Security Card
- Statement of Attainment (SOA) Store, Handle and Transport Explosives
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence (no provisional licences)
- SSE/SEE Delegate signed Training Transcript or LMS Record
