ConsultANZ is looking for a Geotechnical Site Engineer join a leading geotechnical and ground improvement contractor in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to work alongside experienced project teams and gain exposure to a variety of geotechnical and civil construction projects.

Main Duties:

- Assist with the planning and delivery of geotechnical and civil construction projects.
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, and site crews.
- Monitor ground conditions and provide technical support during construction activities.
- Assist with geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and field testing.
- Coordinate earthworks, excavation, ground improvement, remediation, and other geotechnical construction activities.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret geotechnical reports, engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering,



Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a Site Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience working on geotechnical, civil construction, earthworks, ground improvement, or related projects.
- Understanding of soil and rock behaviour, earthworks, excavation, foundations, and ground conditions.
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, field testing, or construction monitoring would be advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, geotechnical reports, specifications, and project plans.
