Ceduna Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team on a four-week contract basis. This rural and remote role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting, with potential to support other areas of the hospital based on operational needs and skill mix. The position runs from 17 October to 13 November 2026 at RN1 level, working 1.0 FTE (76 hours per fortnight).

- Work across ED triage, acute care, and emergency response in a rural healthcare setting
- Four-week contract with flexibility to contribute across multiple clinical areas
- RN1 classification with structured support in a close-knit regional team

Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Demonstrated experience in emergency department or acute care nursing
- Competence in triage assessment and rapid patient prioritisation
- Ability to work flexibly across different clinical areas as required
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in a small, collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
