We are seeking a large number of experienced roofers to join our construction team on a new build leisure project in the Somerset Region.

The role will involve installation of roofing and wall cladding systems across a large steel-framed buildings. We are looking for reliable tradespeople who can work safely, follow installation drawings and contribute to maintaining good productivity and workmanship on site.

Key Duties

- Install temporary and permanent edge protection as required

- Install roof safety mesh

- Install roof insulation and blanket systems

- Install metal roof sheeting

- Install external wall cladding/sheeting

- Install gutters, flashings and downpipes

- Complete associated roofing trims, penetrations and weatherproofing

- Work from construction drawings and installation details

- Coordinate with site supervision and other trades

- Maintain valuable housekeeping and safe work areas

- Comply with site SWMS,



WHS procedures and daily pre-start requirements

- Inspect completed work and rectify defects where required

Requirements

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial roofing/cladding

- Construction White Card

- Working at Heights certification

- EWP licence/ticket preferred

- Experience working from EWPs and around structural steel

- Good understanding of roofing and cladding installation requirements

- Strong focus on safety and quality

- Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team

- Own basic hand tools and PPE preferred
