Asset Officer (Part-Time, Temporary)

What You'll Do:
As an Asset Officer, you will be responsible for supporting asset data management, maintaining asset registers, and utilizing asset management systems and GIS. Your expertise will help ensure the council's assets are accurately documented and efficiently managed, directly impacting community services and infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Local Government environment or similar setting
- Hands-on experience with Asset Management, asset data, and asset registers
- Proficiency with Asset Management Systems and GIS tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel




- Practical understanding of asset lifecycle and maintenance strategies

- Proven track record working within local government or municipal asset teams

Other Requirements:

- Ability to commit to a part time schedule (3 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and either Wednesday or Thursday)
- Full working rights and be able to pass a national police check
- Availability for engagement starting as soon as possible
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
