Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced MR Truck Driver to join their delivery team based in Footscray.
The role involves operating an MR truck and completing multi-drop deliveries of fresh produce to customers across Melbourne. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an MR-class truck.
- Complete daily multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne.
- Load and unload fresh produce and handle goods carefully.
- Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on time.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
- Provide skilled and friendly customer service.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
- Report any vehicle, maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
- Current MR driver's licence.
- Previous truck driving or multi-drop delivery experience.
- Experience in fresh produce, food or similar industries is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads and suburbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and reliable driving.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good time-management skills.
