Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Educator to join our team. As the Assistant Educator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for our children. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education that meets the individual needs of each child in alignment with the EYLF and the National Quality Framework.

As the Lead Educator you will be responsible for:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS). 5 Hours programming per week.





Manage the day to day running of the program within your class, alongside your assistant.

Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Observe and assess children's development and progress, and maintain accurate records

Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Mentor and support assistant educators and contribute to their professional development

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Diploma (or working towards) of Early Childhood Education and Care (required)

Current First Aid, CPR,



and Anaphylaxis Management certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Working with Children Check (required)

Previous experience working in a similar role (preferred not required)

Sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
