Where You'll Make an Impact
Drive the intake process and conduct culturally safe assessments for all DASA services in Alice Springs. Coordinate resident payments, manage waitlists, and maintain database records to connect clients with vital support programs.
A Day in the Life
- Conduct in-person and phone intake assessments using approved toolkits
- Deliver solution-focused brief interventions during initial client intake
- Create accurate client files and manage referrals in the Mimaso database
- Coordinate Centrelink enrolments and monitor resident payment obligations
- Partner with external agencies, Case Managers, and internal leadership teams
Could This Be You?
- Cert IV in Community Services (Alcohol & Other Drugs) preferred
- Proven experience conducting assessments or intake processes in community services
- Current NT Ochre Card, National Police Check, First Aid, and Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated understanding of Central Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures
- Database experience (Mimaso preferred) and strong cross-cultural communication skills
