Explorers Learning Academy, a highly regarded early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader, ideally at a minimum you will be Diploma qualified. This is a full-time position based in Bardia, NSW. As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and enriching environment that supports the children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Supervise and mentor a team of Educators to ensure high-quality care and learning outcomes
- Build strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including work health and safety
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and feedback
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- Minimum Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated experience as a Room Leader or in a similar supervisory role within the childcare sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
