About the Role:

We are seeking seeking dedicated and compassionate Night Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual basis.

You will be based at our Darley House located at 24-26 Darley Street Mona Vale NSW 2103.

Night Shift Times: 10:00pm - 07:15am (Wednesday)

Darley House is seeking experienced Night Registered Nurse to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit Registered Nurses who are flexible and passionate about aged care.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that meets residents' individual needs

- Provide supervision, mentor, delegate and coordinate of Personal Care Workers and nursing staff

- Conduct resident assessments and contribute to care planning and clinical reviews

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

- Monitor residents' health status and escalate concerns as appropriate





- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, families, medical practitioners and allied health professionals

- Compliance with aged care standards, policies and clinical governance requirements

- Promote a positive, respectful and person-centred care environment

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality care outcomes within the home

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA Registration (Essential)

- Current Police Check (Essential)

- At least 1 - 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia (Desirable)

- Strong understanding of contemporary aged care practices and clinical care delivery in a residential setting

- Sound knowledge of aged care standards and regulatory requirements

- Excellent written documentation, clinical assessment and communication skills

- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills

- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict effectively

- Confidence leading teams and contributing positively to a collaborative workplace

- A commitment to delivering exceptional resident care and customer service
