Product Owner
The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead cross-functional agile teams in translating business objectives and customer needs into user-focused digital solutions.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, marketers, designers, developers and technology teams to define product vision, manage digital roadmaps and deliver initiatives that improve customer and business outcomes.
You will take ownership of product strategy and delivery, prioritising the product backlog, supporting agile teams and ensuring solutions are effectively tested through development and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

- Define product and service vision and requirements based on customer needs and business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders and agile teams to identify business needs and establish priorities for the digital product roadmap.
- Lead agile delivery teams as Product Owner, defining strategic outcomes and owning the product roadmap.
- Prioritise product backlog items based on business and customer value.
- Develop and manage digital implementation plans, including resource capacity planning and budget management.
- Build a strong understanding of user needs, behaviours and motivations to improve customer experiences.
- Communicate delivery progress through showcases,



stand-ups and visual management tools.
- Build strong relationships across digital, innovation, marketing, business and technology teams.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Champion agile ways of working to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
- Lead, support and develop Product Owners, setting clear expectations and helping embed an Agile culture.

Experience
You will bring relevant experience within digital product delivery, with preferred experience including:

- Developing, implementing and managing digital technologies and functionality.
- Working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
- Driving and delivering digital initiatives.
- Developing business plans.
- Working within financial services or insurance environments would be beneficial.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education and relevant qualified experience.

You are comfortable operating across both business and technology teams and can translate business goals and customer needs into clear product priorities.
You will be confident leading agile teams, managing competing priorities and communicating product direction and delivery progress to a broad range of stakeholders.
