Are you a passionate hospitality leader with proven experience in leading high-performing teams? We are seeking a motivated and driven Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team across our Casino Bars on a permanent full time basis.

The Role
As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will lead, develop, and mentor a passionate team in delivering service excellence as well as applying commercial business acumen to build the business contributing to the overall bottom line of the organisation. You will be responsible for developing marketing activities, business plans and budgets in line with operational expenditure as well as all cash and stock control.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or related field (desirable)
- Minimum three (3) years industry experience at a managerial level
- Demonstrated experience leading, developing and mentoring a team
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment
- Current Responsible Management of Licenced Venues Certificate and Approved Manager’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Demonstrated understanding of restaurant and bar practices
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer and wines
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
