Babinda Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 28 September to 25 October 2026. Based in Babinda, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic ED environment, with the flexibility of occasional ward shifts as required. It's an ideal opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for short-term contract work in a regional healthcare setting.

- Four-week contract in a busy Emergency Department with exposure to triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




- Demonstrated experience in emergency department triage and patient assessment
- Proficiency with resuscitation protocols and emergency response procedures
- Competence with electronic medical records (ieMR) systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting clinical demands

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
