About the Role

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will provide clinical leadership across the residence and ensure residents consistently receive safe, person-centred and high-quality care.

You will work closely with Registered Nurses, care staff, residents, families and the broader leadership team to maintain strong clinical governance, regulatory compliance and positive care outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing visible and supportive leadership to the clinical team

- Overseeing clinical care delivery, assessments and care planning

- Monitoring clinical indicators, incidents, risks and corrective actions

- Supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards

- Leading continuous improvement and quality initiatives

- Coaching and developing Registered Nurses and care team members

- Supporting effective workforce planning and clinical coverage





- Managing complex resident care matters and communicating with families

- Preparing for audits, accreditation activities and regulatory reviews

- Promoting a positive, accountable and resident-focused workplace culture

About You

You will be an experienced clinical leader who combines strong clinical knowledge with a calm, collaborative and solutions-focused management style.

To be successful, you will require:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience in a Clinical Manager, Care Manager or senior clinical leadership role

- Strong knowledge of residential aged care standards and compliance requirements

- Experience overseeing clinical governance, risk and continuous improvement

- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and support multidisciplinary teams

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Confidence managing complex clinical and operational matters

- Full Australian working rights

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and other required clearances, or willingness to obtain them

Experience within a large residential aged care facility will be highly regarded.
