Home Assist SA is a growing South Australian provider delivering high-quality in-home and community support services to people living with disability and older Australians. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Personal Care Worker for an immediate start.

This role has the opportunity to build a consistent roster and work with clients across surrounding suburbs.

This role would suit an experienced personal care worker looking to increase their hours, secondary employment, or someone seeking flexible and rewarding work within a supportive team.

Home Assist SA is a young and growing NDIS and Aged Care provider. We help clients live independently at home by delivering practical, reliable, and high-quality support. Our services include assistance with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, gardening, personal care, and community access.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Support Worker, you will provide respectful, individualised support to clients in their own homes and within the community.

Your role may include:

- Personal care including showering, dressing and grooming

- Daily hygiene tasks including pad changes, bed pan cleans, sheet changes etc

- Assistance with household tasks

- Meal preparation and assistance with daily routines

- Community access and participation

- Following individual support plans and care instructions

- Providing safe, respectful and person-centred care





We are seeking applicants who are centrally located or are comfortable travelling between client locations.

Shifts are currently available across:

- Hyde Park

- Highgate

- Northern Suburbs

Applicants must be available for either:

- Morning shifts commencing from 7:00am, and/or

- Evening shifts finishing at 6:00pm

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

- Caring, compassionate and client-focused

- Reliable, punctual and professional

- Confident and comfortable providing personal care

- Versatile and willing to travel to surrounding suburbs

- A strong communicator with a positive attitude

- Committed to maintaining client dignity, privacy and choice

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) – essential

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between clients

- Smartphone with reliable internet access

- Current unrestricted right to work in Australia
