Ready to start your geotechnical career?
We’re looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our team in Brisbane! We're excited to bring on our next motivated and enthusiastic graduate. You could start this year after your final exams or sooner if you're all wrapped up.
At ENGEO, we’re passionate about developing outstanding engineers. You’ll gain hands on experience, practical mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of complex engineering projects while working alongside an experienced, supportive team.
What will you be doing?
As a Graduate, you’ll support a variety of projects under the guidance of experienced engineers, building your technical capability and confidence through real, hands-on work.
Field investigations & analysis
- Assisting with site investigations, logging, sampling, and data collection
- Contributing to ground and soil characterisation, hazard identification, and constraint assessment
- Supporting geotechnical analysis and the development of practical recommendations
Project delivery & collaboration
- Supporting project delivery through field coordination, data management, and preparation of technical outputs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors
- Learning how geotechnical advice is applied in real world consulting environments
You’ll also have opportunities to work on projects outside of Queensland, across Australia – as well as in Recent Zealand & the Pacific!
Who are you?
We’re looking for someone early in their career who is keen to learn, enjoys being out on site as much as in the office, and is excited to build a strong technical foundation.
You could be an engineering geologist or a geotechnical engineer, but you’ll definitely be proactive, curious, and keen to get stuck in.
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree in engineering geology, geology, civil engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach and a curious mindset
- An interest in engineering and/or project management
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to get stuck in
- The drive and desire to grow in your career
And ENGEO.

You’ll enjoy a flat structure, minimal bureaucracy, and autonomy paired with robust senior & principal support.

We value integrity, collaboration, and bringing positive energy to everything we do. Our culture is our strategy: we hire for potential and our values - humble, hungry, and smart.
What's in it for you?

- Flexible working arrangements
