Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door located in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchenhand/Prep Chef in a permanent position for an immediate start. This is a casual position with shifts available for lunch and dinner across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

About Barmah Park

Based in Victoria's picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door has a relaxed yet sophisticated dining room with spectacular panoramic vineyard views. We create exceptional food and wine experiences focusing on local produce that are seasonal and sustainable to showcase our wines.

The restaurant operates Wed to Sun each week for lunch from 11am. Friday and Saturday night we also do a dinner service.

About the role

Working alongside our current kitchen team, you will be given a fantastic chance to develop your current culinary skillset and contribute to the successful operation of our restaurant.





The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate competency the following:

- Initiative and time management during prep and service.

- Strong knife skillset.

- Working with a efficient sense of urgency.

- Having an even temperament.

- Consistency in food standards.

- Understanding of food related health and safety procedures to protect the health, safety and welfare of customers and employees.

- A passion for food and a thirst for knowledge

- Team player attitude and commitment to high-end service delivering quality food items and ensuring the highest level of guest’s satisfaction at all times

- Available to work weekends
