Operator – FIFO | Pilbara & Goldfields, WA

BMR Piping & Civil is a WA-owned contractor delivering HDPE and civil piping solutions to the mining sector across the Pilbara and Goldfields. We're looking for an experienced Operator to join our team on a FIFO basis, supporting pipeline installation, civil works, and site operations across our project locations.

About the Role

As an Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a range of plant and equipment, supporting HDPE pipeline installation, trenching, dam construction, and general civil works. You'll work closely with supervisors, leading hands, and your crew to keep our sites productive and safe.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, loaders, rollers, and site vehicles

- Carrying out daily pre-start inspections and reporting faults or hazards immediately

- Supporting HDPE pipeline installation and civil works, including trenching, backfilling, and pipe handling

- Assisting with dam construction and site preparation

- Completing logbooks, checklists, and basic site documentation

- Maintaining clean, safe work areas and plant laydown zones

- Pitching in on general labouring duties as needed

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 3 years' experience operating plant and machinery on civil and/or mining projects

- Proven competency across excavators, skid steers, telehandlers,



loaders, rollers, and integrated tool carriers

- A solid track record supporting pipeline installation, trenching, backfilling, and earthworks

- Dam construction, dewatering, or TSF experience highly regarded

- Solid understanding of pre-start checks, safe operating procedures, and hazard reporting

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on remote FIFO projects

- Construction White Card

- Integrated Tool Carrier Ticket

- Skid Steer Ticket

- Excavator Ticket

- C6 Crane Ticket

- Valid HR/HC Driver's Licence

- Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)

You'll also need to pass a medical and comply with LAB drug and alcohol testing every 28 days (or as required).
