About You

As a Creative Arts Teacher (0.4), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.



We invite collaborative and energetic educators to apply for the temporary part-time (0.4 FTE) position that will commence in Term 1, 2027. This position will be for a K-6 Creative Arts teacher. The successful applicant must be available on Thursday and Friday each week. These days are not negotiable as they align with our Professional Planning Time. The Creative Arts syllabus includes Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Arts. Ideally, the successful applicant will be able to teach across all four areas. This position will be for the Music and Dance components.

As a passionate K-6 Creative Arts Teacher, you are committed to enriching the lives of your students. We're seeking an individual who thrives on collaboration, welcomes feedback, and is dedicated to ensuring all students reach their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- initiative and the willingness to be a team player
- expertise within Creative Arts
- sound knowledge in K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- skills in utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- an ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to diverse student needs




- a commitment to supporting the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- confidence in integrating technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences (e.g. Google applications including Google Slides and Google Docs, promethean whiteboards and iPads/Chromebooks).

You will have attained:

a tertiary qualification in Education
eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
