We’re looking for an experienced Finance Reporting Manager to join our Finance team in Sydney.

This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for the integrity of financial reporting across the Resimac Group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of group reporting and consolidations, statutory reporting and the annual report process, while acting as a key technical accounting adviser to senior stakeholders.

A key focus of the role will be finance transformation and process improvement. You’ll play a leading role in helping introduce greater automation, stronger controls and more efficient ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

- Own half yearly and annual consolidated financial reporting across the Group.
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and support ASX and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Manage the external audit process, including timelines, requests and issue resolution.
- Provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Interpret complex accounting standards and prepare accounting policies and technical position papers.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and key accounting judgements.




- Partner with Treasury and other areas of the business on accounting matters associated with funding structures, intercompany arrangements and other transactions.
- Drive improvements to reporting, consolidation and reconciliation processes, with a strong focus on automation.
- Provide accounting input into strategic transactions including M&A; activity, capital raisings and new product structures.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring strong technical accounting capability combined with the confidence to operate as a trusted adviser across the business.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- 5+ years’ relevant financial reporting experience, with a strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- A strong technical accounting and financial reporting background, including complex group consolidations.
- Big 4 audit experience, ideally with ASX exposure, highly regarded.
- Financial services experience or meaningful exposure to the sector highly desirable.
- Experience with financial controls, audit and statutory reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in finance transformation, process improvement and automation.
