About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an EXPERIENCED CONSULTING ARBORIST to join us, playing a key role in this business and its valued customers, while being a part of a supportive small team.

The role reports to the Managing Director Senior Consulting Arborist and your work locations are based at Holden Hill SA 5088 and our southern Hackham offices.

What are the main requirements of the Role?

· Perform tree audits and hazard assessments. and site / tree inspections where required.

· Perform tree assessments, pre-development arboricultural impact assessments and tree reports as directed including tree risk assessments and data analysis

· Develop and maintain client relationships.

· Prepare and respond to requests for fee proposals for arboricultural reports and to provide quotations for tree works.

· Provide on-the-job training to team members, including the provision of instructions/guidance with regards to safe working practices.





· Liaise with clients and other stakeholders on work activities including the follow up and completion of client requests within the specified timeframes.

· Responsible for work activities ensuring their completion is within the budget, quality and timeframe specifications relevant to the position.

· Lead in an efficient and environmentally sound manner and in accordance with agreed service standards associated with arboriculture related activities.

· Undertake program and project work relevant to the position.

· Ability to undertake a hands-on approach to tasks as required.

· Monitor contracts and contractors with regards to work being undertaken in relation to jobs/works you have created.

· Provide specialist, relevant advice and assistance on related arboricultural/operational matters.

What do I need to be considered for this role?

· Diploma in Arboriculture is essential

· High awareness of safety and related procedures as they apply to the role

· White card, current Drivers Licence, Police clearance and DCSI are essential

· Be able to work independently whilst contributing as a valued team player

· Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality in your work

· Be willing to work with a sense of flexibility

· Have a hard-working approach with a good energy level

· Customer service approach at all times

· A high attention to detail

· Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
