An example of the attention Salvatore Ferragamo pays to protecting artisanal skills and the Company's know-how is the Manovia division. Established in 1967, it creates samples and prototypes as well as fine-tunes the structures for the new models, producing exclusive footwear every day. This little wonder of craftsmanship is key for preserving the Company's know-how—the legacy of its Founder that today is upheld by skilled artisans. These are the only ones that can hand down the secrets of producing Salvatore Ferragamo footwear from one generation to another.
