Job Description

SMS Personnel is seeking an experienced JDE Finance Functional Analyst / Business Analyst for a temporary assignment with a major Australian organisation based in Kilsyth. The position sits between Finance and IT and will support business-process improvement, JDE Finance configuration, system enhancement and implementation activity.

The role

n

n
- Work with Finance and IT teams to design and implement improvements to the JD Edwards Finance model.
n
- Support and lead JDE rollout activity for newly acquired businesses.
n
- Provide Level 2 support for complex JDE Finance issues.
n
- Act as a subject-matter resource for finance users and support consistent JDE processes and practices.
n
- Develop functional designs, test scripts and end-user training material.
n
- Model and document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
n
- Configure and support JDE Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable,



Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
n
- Work with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing on system and process improvements.

Requirements

n

n
- Minimum five years' hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally version 9.2.
n
- Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience across JDE Finance modules.
n
- Experience producing functional specifications, process documentation, testing material and user guidance.
n
- Solid troubleshooting skills, particularly around finance-module support and period-close integrity issues.
n
- Ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Professional accounting qualification or significant JDE Finance application experience.
n
- Manufacturing, product-costing or manufacturing-accounting exposure will be highly regarded.
n
- Kilsyth-based assignment working across enterprise-level Finance and IT systems.
n
