Finance Manager – Automotive Finance Hub

Craig Burgess Motor Group is looking for an experienced and driven Finance Manager to lead our centralised Finance Hub, supporting multiple dealerships across the Group.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands automotive finance, knows how to get the best out of a team, and can drive solid finance and insurance results without compromising compliance or the customer experience.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the Finance Hub, leading and developing our Business Managers while working closely with dealership Sales Managers and senior leadership across the Group.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operation of the Finance Hub. Your focus will be on increasing finance penetration, improving conversion and profitability, developing your team, and ensuring every transaction meets our compliance standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Managers within the Finance Hub.

Drive finance penetration, conversion, income per retail unit and other key F&I; performance targets.

Monitor individual and team performance against monthly and quarterly KPIs.

Review results, identify gaps and take action where performance is below expectation.

Build strong working relationships with dealership Sales Managers and sales teams across multiple locations.

Ensure finance opportunities are followed up effectively and customers receive a professional and consistent experience.

Implement and improve processes that support stronger sales, customer service and profitability.

Manage and support Finance & Insurance product sales programs.

Maintain strong relationships with financiers, insurers and other key business partners.

Ensure strict compliance with financier,



insurer, dealership and regulatory requirements.

Recruit, onboard, train and develop Finance Hub team members.

Provide regular performance reporting and updates to senior management.

Support broader Group initiatives and undertake other duties as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who can lead from the front. You will be comfortable holding your team accountable, coaching people to improve and using performance data to make decisions.

Ideally, you will have:

Strong automotive finance and insurance experience.

Previous experience as a Senior Business Manager, Finance Manager or similar leadership role.

A proven track record of achieving finance penetration and profitability targets.

Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.

A solid understanding of automotive finance compliance and responsible lending requirements.

Strong relationships with, or knowledge of, major automotive financiers and insurers.

The ability to analyse performance and identify where action is required.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with Sales Managers and senior leaders.

A genuine focus on delivering a great customer experience.
