About the role
Join Barwon Health’s energetic Belmont Primary Care team as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist and deliver evidence-based, goal-centred care to consumers across a diverse community setting. You’ll work within a high-performing multidisciplinary team supporting people with a range of needs, from early intervention through to chronic and complex care.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to a varied physiotherapy service, including individual consultations, group programs such as GLAD and Balance, AHA-led programs and access to hydrotherapy. You’ll also have opportunities to support students and junior staff, contribute to peer-directed learning, and get involved in quality improvement, research and service innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based and consumer-centred physiotherapy assessment, intervention and care within a multidisciplinary community setting
- Independently manage a clinical caseload, evaluate outcomes and contribute to goal-centred care planning and review
- Provide clinical support, supervision and education to junior staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, service development and innovative initiatives that enhance care and outcomes for the community
What we’re looking for
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an Australian Physiotherapy Council accredited course and current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience, with the ability to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy in a community or multidisciplinary setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management and prioritisation skills, with a clear commitment to consumer-centred care
- A commitment to professional development, reflective practice, clinical education and continuous improvement
