Candidate Job Brief - Orange Door Hub Practitioner
Position: Orange Door Hub Practitioner
Location: Cranbourne Hub
Contract: 5 October - 27 January (approx. 3 months)
Hours: Full-time preferred
WfH: 1 day per week, with potential to negotiate 2 days
Pay: $66.79 - $72.97 per hour, depending on experience
We're currently recruiting an experienced Orange Door Practitioner to support the Cranbourne team. You'll work as part of an integrated Orange Door team, responding to the needs of victim survivors and families experiencing family violence and vulnerability.
What you'll be doing
- Working directly with victim survivors and families experiencing family violence
- Providing information, advice and an initial assessment
- Undertaking family violence risk assessment and safety planning
- Responding to client enquiries and providing appropriate referrals and support
- Working collaboratively within an integrated multidisciplinary team
- Completing duty shifts, including responding to calls and walk-ins - you'll complete 2 consecutive days of duty
What they're looking for
- Previous Orange Door experience is essential
- Strong experience working directly with victim survivors
- Experience in family violence assessment, risk management and safety planning
- Ability to work confidently within an integrated service environment
- SCHADS Level 5 or 6 experience will be considered
- Senior Practitioner experience is required if seeking the higher end of the hourly rate
Location & flexibility
The role is based at the Cranbourne Orange Door Hub, with 1 day WFH per week. There may be flexibility to negotiate a second WFH day depending on the successful candidate.
This is a great short-term prospect for an experienced Orange Door Practitioner who is available from early October and wants to join an established team for approximately three months.
