Our client is a specialist Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy supporting the delivery of a $1bn+ infrastructure project, one of Australia’s largest and most technically complex renewable energy projects. They are now seeking for a Senior Contracts Administrator or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cooma, NSW.

These roles will focus on forecasting, rate analysis, cost breakdowns, and scope definition across major infrastructure and civil packages. You’ll work closely with the project leadership team to analyse existing drawings, assess cost forecasts, and help refine and reinvent project scope as it evolves.

Ideal candidates will come from either a Head Contracting or Consultancy background and have experience in forensic cost analysis, contract administration, and financial reporting within large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities





- Conduct detailed cost forecasting, budgeting, and rate analysis
- Review and interpret existing drawings, forecasts, and project documentation
- Assist in defining, refining, and validating project scope
- Prepare and manage variations, progress claims, and contract documentation
- Provide financial and contractual advice to project stakeholders
- Participate in forensic cost reviews and risk assessments
- Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and commercial managers
- Analyse drawings & scope to accurate forecasts

Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering Civil infrastructure or major project experience
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Proficiency in cost management and contract administration software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- A versatile, proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skillset both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to think on your feet and excellent problem-solving skills
