The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Capital Projects team in a full-time parental leave backfill position. Reporting to the Coordinator Building Projects, you will lead the delivery of community building and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- You will manage project scopes, budgets, procurement and contracts, coordinate consultants and contractors, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and provide project reporting to support informed decision-making.
- You will also ensure projects align with Council objectives and sustainability commitments.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field, together with demonstrated experience delivering capital works or building projects. Strong communication, stakeholder management and contract administration skills will be key to your success. A Victorian Driver's Licence and White Card (or equivalent) are required.
Employment Requirements
Applicants must hold valid working rights in Australia,
and those progressing through the selection process will need to complete a National Police Record Check, a Working With Children Check and relevant pre-employment medical assessments if required.
