- Communicate HSE requirements on site
- Assist in monitoring day-to-day site activities to ensure safety compliance
- Report key issues to the site Safety Manager
- Assist with incident investigations and report to appropriate personnel
- Assist in site consultation, including toolbox talks and daily pre-start briefings
- Participate in WHS audits
- Promote a positive work health and safety culture
- Provide hands-on HSE support to the Central-West Orana team on a large-scale renewable energy transmission construction project
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally including renewable energy projects and high-risk workplaces
- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, as a minimum
- Safety Lead Auditor qualification (desirable)
- Comfortable working across a large, quick-moving construction site
- Bus-in, bus-out role based out of the Central West Orana Region
- Ability to work a 14 days on/7 days off roster
