We are seeking an Senior Civil Engineer with commercial building civil design experience to join our growing team in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. This role is open to relocation, from anywhere in Aus with a reimbursement package for doing so.

This role is suited to an engineer ready to take ownership of projects, contribute to design delivery, and continue developing technically within a collaborative consulting environment.

About the Role- Commercial Building Civil Design:

You will contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering packages for commercial building and development projects, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Projects typically include:

- Commercial buildings

This is a building-sector civil design role, not a bulk earthworks or road design position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare siteworks, drainage and services coordination designs




- Produce civil engineering drawings and mark‑ups
- Assist with concept, tender and construction documentation
- Undertake design analysis using industry software
- Attend client and project team meetings
- Contribute to project delivery within scope, time and budget
- Participate in internal design reviews and QA processes
- Assist with technical documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with structural and civil teams across offices
- Provide guidance to Graduate Engineers where appropriate

About You:

- You are a motivated consulting engineer with experience in commercial building civil design, looking to continue building your career within a respected consultancy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–8+ years civil engineering consultancy experience
- Strong understanding of siteworks, drainage and services design
- Proficiency with civil engineering CAD software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to apply sound engineering judgement
- Commitment to professional development
- Working toward Chartered or RPEQ status (preferred but not essential)
