Kinexus has partnered with the Australian Signals Directorate to assist in sourcing Operations Coordinators/Gateway Leads to plan and coordinate gateway activities and manage escalations. You will be responsible for the running of day-to-day operations whilst ensuring the availability of critical services and components across the environment. The Gateway Lead will act as a central coordination point for senior leadership, ensuring effective communication, prioritisation and alignment of resources across teams and stakeholder.

ASD is the federal agency responsible for foreign signals intelligence, cyber warfare and information security. ASD's purpose is to defend Australia from global threats and help advance our national interests. Suitable candidates will be required to complete ASD's Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA). This will be required prior to commencement and ASD will allocate successful candidates to work areas based on operational needs.

On offer is an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions. This role is available in either Canberra (ACT) or Adelaide (SA), and does not offer the opportunity for candidates to upgrade their clearance - a TSPV clearance is essential for this role.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Provides advice and guidance on the planning, design and improvement of service and component availability.
- Investigates all breaches of availability targets and service non-availability and initiates remedial activities.
- Manages and prioritises the schedules and communication of senior managers and leadership teams to ensure efficient use of time and resources.




- Ensures managers have the information and resources needed to support ongoing processes and changes in processes.
- Engages and collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including those at the management level.
- Gains agreement from stakeholders to conclusions and recommendations.
