As Executive Director, Regional Services, you will lead a statewide network delivering high-quality legal assistance to disadvantaged Queenslanders, ensuring services are connected, consistent and responsive to the needs of local communities.

This is a role for a strategic and influential legal leader who can bring people together, strengthen regional partnerships, guide high-performing teams and drive service excellence across diverse locations. You will play a central role in leading regional operations, influencing organisational direction, fostering innovation, managing performance and resources, and ensuring Legal Aid Queensland continues to deliver client-centred services that make a real difference.

About you

You are a highly experienced legal executive with robust strategic judgement, outstanding leadership capability and a deep understanding of regional service delivery.

You will bring:





- substantial experience as a legal professional operating within a senior management environment
- strong knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of working across diverse regional settings
- exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and deliver through others

While most of our work is focused on providing legal services in criminal, family and civil law, our workforce includes many other roles including social workers, policy officers, grants officers, IT, HR, finance, procurement, communication, along with our contact centre and front counter staff – to name just a few!
