New Farm Medical Centre Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and organised Senior Medical Receptionist to join our close-knit team in Recent Farm, Queensland. This casual position will see you play a vital front-line customer service position, responsible for efficiently managing patient enquiries, bookings, and administrative duties. Ideal candidate will be available to work 3-5 days a week with potential to become permanent PT/FT and available to start ASAP.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments across multiple doctors
- Liaising with patients to obtain and update medical information
- Handling patient enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in our medical software system
- Performing general clerical and administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical receptionist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients
- Robust organisational and time management skills,



with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in using medical software systems. Best Practice experience essential
- A calm, professional and empathetic approach when dealing with patients
- A genuine interest in the medical industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Experience as 2IC or team lead highly advantageous
