We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSales Managerto join our 4x4 Accessory Sales team. This is afull-time positionbased inCoopers Plains, QLD. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets whilst driving customer satisfaction and business growth. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as you will directly impact our market position and profitability within the competitive 4x4 accessories industry. You will oversee all aspects of the sales operation, from team management and performance optimisation to customer relationship development and market expansion.
Key responsibilities
Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration
Recruit, train and mentor sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development
Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions where necessary
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners
Analyse sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities
Manage customer complaints and escalations professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention
Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand
Present regular sales reports and performance metrics to senior management
Represent the company at open days, trade shows and networking opportunities
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the automotive or retail accessories sector
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with customers and staff
Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems
Knowledge of 4x4 accessories, vehicles and automotive industry as a whole is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market information
Problem-solving mindset with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
Willingness to engage in hands-on sales activities when required
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
