Veolia is seeking a Water and Wastewater Treatment Technician to join our Victorian Water Operations team, based in Ballarat.
This is a diverse role combining plant operations, maintenance, water quality monitoring and practical problem solving. You will work with modern treatment systems, including SCADA, and help improve plant safety, reliability and performance.
The role involves regular travel across Victoria, including some overnight stays, and participation in an on call roster once every 6 weeks.

What you’ll do
- Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants
- Monitor treatment processes using SCADA and other systems
- Complete routine maintenance, fault finding and minor repairs
- Collect water samples and maintain accurate recordsInspect equipment and identify maintenance requirements
- Respond to plant issues and participate in the on call roster
- Support continuous improvement across safety, quality and plant performance
What you’ll bring
