We’re now looking for a proactive and hands on Full Time Night Manager to ensure smooth overnight operations for our guests, safeguard the hotel, and oversee essential accounting tasks to keep us one step ahead of tomorrow.

Acting as the face of the hotel in the evening the Night Manager ensures that every guest experience remains consistent with The Motley’s high standards of service and care. We are looking for someone whom takes pride in what they do, day in and day out.

What you’ll do:

Act as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift.

Manage late check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using Hilton and PMS systems.

Handle guest complaints, requests, and emergencies promptly and professionally.

Oversee all hotel operations during the overnight shift, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security requirements.

Prepare daily reports and ensure financial accuracy in line with Hilton standards Conduct and review the Night Audit, ensuring accuracy of revenue postings and financial reports.

Prepare management reports and ensure compliance with Hilton reporting standards.

Balance floats, monitor cash handling, and resolve discrepancies.

Respond to emergencies,



ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property

Ensure service delivery reflects The Motley’s brand: warm, approachable, and polished.

What we’re looking for:

Proven leadership experience in a hotel supervisory or night operations role

Strong accounting, reconciliation, and cash-handling skills

Strong knowledge of front office systems (Hilton PMS or similar preferred).

RSA and First Aid certifications (essential)

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

A flexible, positive attitude and passion for hospitality

Knowledge of safety, fire, and security procedures

Legal right to work full-time in Australia
