Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent—IT Applications to lead ateam responsible for the support and ongoing management of our core business applications across Sustainability, Human Resources andFinance.

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Head of IT Applications, this role will oversee approximately six application support analysts working across multiple time zones. You will help ensure our applications remain available, secure and well controlled, while supporting effective change management and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and develop ateam of application supportanalysts.
- Oversee the support and ongoing management of globally delivered business applications.




- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical solutiondesigns.
- Review and maintain functional documentation.
- Coordinate application testing, user training and releaseactivities.
- Manage application changes, developments, patches andupgrades.
- Coordinate user requests through the ticketing system and remove barriers affectingdelivery.
- Maintain controls across application access, segregation of duties and changemanagement.
- Coordinate periodic access reviews and address identified control deficiencies.
- Provide supporting evidence for internal and externalaudits.
- Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders, application providers, integrators and supportpartners.
- Promote azero-harm mindset and contribute to aconstructive, collaborative workplaceculture.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading teams of application analysts.
- Demonstrated broader leadership experience, ideally within the range of 3 to 5 years.
- Hands-on experience managing aportfolio of globally delivered applications.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end application lifecycle.
- Experience preparing functional design documents and developing functional and technical specifications.




- Solid analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder managementskills.
- A consistent focus on follow-through, delivery and achievingoutcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The flexibility to support teams and activities across different timezones.

Highly regarded

- Previous experience as afunctional consultant.
- Experience managing SOX and IT general controls within an application environment.
- Experience using ServiceNow or asimilar ticketingplatform.
- Knowledge of matrix-based securitydesigns.
