Across our communityoffices and custodial facilities, our team gives young people involved in thejustice system the consistent clinical care they need to rebuild their lives.
As one of ourseniorclinicians at Parkville or Cherry Creek, you will manage a dedicated team to create positive change andhelp young people rebuild their lives in partnership with families andcommunities.
Usingevidence-informed practice, you will guide them throughlife-changingshifts in mindset, behaviour and self-belief and empower them to makepositive choices, learn new skills to reduce harmful behaviours and stay ontrack.
It's complex andchallenging work. But it'swork that makes a real differencebothto young people's futures and to our state's safety.
We also offer a $10Krelocation allowance for eligible candidates who are thinking of moving towithin an hour's drive of Cherry Creek near Werribee.
You will:
- Work within a forensic framework withyoung people who engage in serious offending behaviour and may present asa moderate to high risk of reoffending.
- Use your skills and judgement to lead ateam in providing therapeutic intervention to young people with complexneeds and build respectful, supportive relationships.
- Help develop a strong team culture wherepeer support and collaboration are central to success.
- Take part inregular training anddevelopment, with one day each month dedicated to your learning.
