Southern Queensland & Northern Territory

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive sales across Southern Queensland and the Northern Territory. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in water, industrial and fire protection solutions while working with some of the most recognised brands in the pumping industry.

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with our established network of customers, including:

- Irrigation specialists and distributors
- OEMs and manufacturers
- Contractors and end users
- Water, mining and industrial customers

A key focus of the role will be driving product specifications and influencing project outcomes through strong engagement with consulting engineers, designers and industry stakeholders, ensuring our brands remain the preferred choice for major projects and applications.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage and grow sales across Southern Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Promote the Southern Cross, Aurora, Fairbanks Nijhuis and Pentair Fire product portfolio.

Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve sales targets.

Build strong relationships with consulting engineers to secure product specifications.

Support distributors, OEMs and key account customers.

Identify, develop and convert recent business opportunities.

Provide technical product selection and application support.

Prepare quotations, presentations and project proposals.





Maintain sales opportunities and customer activity within CRM systems.

Represent Pentair at industry events, trade shows and customer presentations.

About You

You are a motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering results.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in pumps, irrigation, industrial equipment, water infrastructure or related industries.

Strong business development and account management skills.

The ability to select and specify pumping equipment or other technical solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

A self-motivated, proactive and results-driven approach.

Robust commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Candidates with an engineering background and proven sales capability will also be highly regarded.
