Join the team at Campbelltown Pathology as a Temporary Full Time Medical Laboratory Assistant and become part of a busy, 24/7 multidisciplinary laboratory serving the growing communities of South Western Sydney. Based in a newly redeveloped, state-of-the-art laboratory, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to work across both Specimen Reception and the laboratory, supporting a wide range of services that contribute directly to patient care and clinical outcomes. As a valued member of the pre-analytical team, you'll be involved in a variety of interesting and rewarding duties, including specimen reception, data entry, clinical trials support, point-of-care testing and general laboratory operations. We're looking for a motivated, adaptable and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives as part of a collaborative team. This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends, offering variety and flexibility in your work schedule.

What you'll be doing

Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform pathology specimen reception duties including receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
