About the role
We have an opportunity for an ICT Asset Manager to be part of our IT Asset & Configuration Management team within Technology and Communications Services Command.
The ICT Asset Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end management of ICT assets across their lifecycle, including hardware, software, licensing, and associated technology assets. The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining asset management processes, procedures, and controls that ensure compliance with legislative, commercial, contractual, financial, and corporate requirements.
The ICT Asset Manager provides operational leadership to the asset management function, overseeing team workload, work allocation, prioritisation, and service delivery activities to ensure requests and operational commitments are managed effectively and aligned to organisational priorities. The role works closely with stakeholders across the business to improve asset visibility, optimise the utilisation of hardware and software assets, reduce risk, strengthen governance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value realisation across the NSWPF technology estate.
