Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experiencedMobile Crushing Superintendentto join our Crushing & Haulage team at Binduli.
Reporting to the Crushing & Haulage Manager, you will lead the day-to-day performance of our mobile crushing operations, providing direction and support to Crushing Coordinators, Supervisors and operational crews. This is a key leadership role focused on safe production, operational efficiency, team development and cost control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor and support the mobile crushing leadership and operational teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate crushing crews and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
- Drive the safe achievement of production, utilisation and cost targets while monitoring crushing performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and output.
- Manage mobile crushing contractors, including safety, compliance, performance and claims.
- Support the development of operational budgets, forecasts and production plans.
- Implement agreed performance-improvement strategies and operational changes.
- Maintain adequate aggregate stock levels to support operational requirements.
- Prepare clear production,
performance and project-progress reports.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE
- At least 10 years’ experience within mobile crushing operations.
- Relevant Statutory Supervisor qualifications,including BSBWHS411 and BSBWHS414.
- Demonstrated experience leading mobile crushing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of crushing equipment, processes and operating parameters.
- Experience optimising crushing performance and achieving production targets.
- Exposure to crushing plant commissioning.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, costs and contractor performance.
- Valuable computer skills across spreadsheets, presentations, word processing and database systems.
