Role Description
We are seeking a reliable and organised Spare Parts / Stores team member to support a hangar-based spare parts operation at Bankstown Aerodrome.
Working as part of a small 3-person team and reporting to the Spare Parts Manager, you will support day-to-day stores, logistics, parts handling, packing, shipping, and administration activities across the operation.
No formal qualifications are required for this position. Aviation experience and Aerotrack knowledge are highly regarded but are not mandatory.
You will
- Support day-to-day stores activities within the hangar
- Receive, organise and manage aircraft spare parts
- Pick, prepare, box, and pack parts for shipment
- Assist with parts shipping and associated logistics
- Complete stores, shipping, and logistics administration
- Maintain an organised and efficient stores environment
- Support the Spare Parts Manager and wider team as required
- Follow workplace, safety and operational procedures
Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience
Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics, parts handling, packing, shipping or a similar environment is highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence
No formal qualifications are required for this position.
Work Rights
Must have appropriate Australian work rights.
Location / Availability
Must be able to reliably work onsite at Bankstown Aerodrome, NSW.
Available Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm and able to commence ASAP.
Additional Requirements
ASIC is required for the role. Candidates should confirm their current ASIC status during screening. Potential commencement on a visitor pass while an ASIC is arranged is subject to client confirmation.
Skills
Robust organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage stores activities, parts handling, packing, shipping, logistics and associated administration.
Attitude
Reliable, practical and organised, with a willingness to work as part of a small team in a hangar-based aviation environment.
