About the Opportunity
n
We are seeking an experienced Security Service Technician to join our Sydney Service Team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who enjoys a variety of work, strong customer relationships, and hands‐on technical problem‐solving. You'll work across a portfolio of commercial customers, servicing and maintaining advanced security systems while also managing small to medium upgrades and fit‐out projects.
n
You'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise and develop your career into areas such as project delivery, commissioning, technical leadership, sales, and management.

What You'll Be Doing
n
As a Security Service Technician, you will:
n
n
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair security systems across customer sites
n
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and system inspections
n
- Deliver small to medium security upgrades and fit‐out projects
n
- Commission newly installed security systems
n
- Prepare quotations for repair works and recommended upgrades
n
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical support
n
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery
n
- Support the wider Projects Team across new and existing customer sites
n
n

CCTV and video management systems including:

- Genetec

- Milestone

- ExacqVision
n
- NVRs, DVRs and network‐based security infrastructure
n
n
Experience or certifications in Gallagher, C•CURE or Integrity are highly regarded but not essential.
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar security technician role
n
- Strong troubleshooting and fault‐finding experience
n
- Sound networking, systems and PC knowledge
n
- Experience installing, servicing and commissioning electronic security systems
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
n
n
Essential Requirements

- Current NSW Driver Licence

- Current Security Licence
n
- Current Cabling Registration
n
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
