About therole

Join Western Health as a Senior Practitioner at The Orange Door, working directly with adults who use family violence and managing complex, high-risk cases. The role involves comprehensive risk assessment, safety planning, coordinated interventions and collaboration with partner agencies to promote safety and accountability.

Keyresponsibilities:

- Manage complex and high-risk cases involving adults who use family violence.
- Complete comprehensive MARAM risk assessments and develop appropriate risk management plans.
- Engage adults who use violence to support accountability, behaviour change and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with victim-survivor, child wellbeing and community services to coordinate responses.
- Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality case documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements.

Aboutyou:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, counselling, community services or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in the family violence sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex and high-risk family violence cases.
- Strong knowledge of the MARAM Framework, including risk assessment and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to engage adults who use family violence and promote accountability and behaviour change.
- Strong case-management, analytical and qualified judgement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



including high-quality case documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multi-agency environment.
- Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and victim-survivor-centred practice.
