The Role

n

An experienced Site Manager is required to take ownership of commercial projects from site establishment through to handover.

n

You will lead all day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, manage the construction programme and ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage daily site operations from commencement through to completion
n
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
n




- Drive the construction programme and manage short-term sequencing
n
- Maintain high standards across safety, quality and site presentation
n
- Conduct site meetings, inductions and toolbox talks
n
- Coordinate trades, consultants and design information
n
- Identify and resolve construction issues before they affect delivery
n
- Manage inspections, defects, commissioning and project handover
n
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator
n
- Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial construction
n
- Experience delivering projects valued between approximately $3M and $15M
n
- Strong background in hospitality, retail, refurbishment, fitout or adaptive-reuse projects
n
- Sound understanding of construction methodology, programming and sequencing
n
- Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
n
- Thorough knowledge of Australian building codes and WHS requirements
n
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
- Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
n
- Relevant trade background or construction qualification
n
- Current White Card and First Aid certification
n
